Daily Fantasy Football Line-ups FanTeam Premier League Match Day 38
For the end-of-season game, we are placing our trust in a FanTeam classic, the 5-2-3. This set-up combines maximum defensive and offensive power at the same time. By carefully selecting the bargain-priced defenders we also keep enough budget available to us to select the top fantasy options in attack.
In defence, we rely on the proven 3 + 3, which gives us a good chance of a high score should both our sets of defenders keep a clean sheet. Swansea has a 38% chance of keeping a clean sheet and their prices are quite modest. In addition, players such as Mawson and Roberts can also earn points through participating in the game. Since the Swans have at least a theoretical chance of avoiding relegation, they are one of the teams which we expect to put in a motivated performance just in case.
Burnley players, on the other hand, have been some of the biggest bargains on FanTeam throughout the whole season. Now, at the end of the season, FanTeam has finally put up the prices for Clarets players. Funnily enough, though, the return of Tom Heaton mean that Burnley is the team in which we want to place our trust. Coach Sean Dyche’s team have a 35% chance of keeping a clean sheet and in our experience, his men usually exceed the expectations. For us again this time, that could be reason enough to trust the defensive artists. In particular, Kevin Long has been very active in helping to create goals and is available at a very good price.
In midfield, we have our sights set on the player of the season: Mo Salah ! The Red Pharaoh has a whopping 71.4%. This is reason enough for us to entrust him with the captain’s armband, even without the fact that Salah could also collect additional points by his team keeping a clean sheet. Theo Walcott has been playing a major role in the Toffees’ game since joining Everton, and may want to show off his qualities once again in the final game. The alternative to him would be Michael Carrick for 8.1 million who, as confirmed by coach Mourinho, will play his farewell match. This honour could mean he also takes any penalties, which could make him very interesting, if you would like to bet on a win by the Red Devils.
Up front, there is a rare situation on FanTeam. Usually fantasy football managers are unable to fill any one team with all of the top 4 players, who have the highest chances of scoring, due to budget constraints. On the last match day, however we were able to do it and on this one Kane (69.4%), Aubameyang 57.1% and Rashford 57.1% all find their way into our dream team.
Daily Fantasy Football Line-ups FanTeam Premier League Match Day 38 DoN
In the DoN format we have to make some adjustments to our team in order to adapt it to the tournament format, this basically means we need to set up a broad range of defenders who can also get involved in goals.
Only Heaton and Mawson keep their places in our team, with the new additions being van Aanholt’s 37% chance of keeping a clean sheet, but with two goals from the Eagles’ last two games Rose (54%) we expect him to play instead of Ben Davies, Cresswell 30%, the king of the crosses and defensive stallwart Jones with a 49% chance of keeping a clean sheet.
Walcott loses his place in midfield to Pascal Gross , who is likely to become the Budget Fantasy Player of the Year. Up front, we are replacing Rashford with Jordan Ayew (48.8%) for budget reasons.
Our Captain, Salah, Vice Captain Kane and mascot, Aubameyang all keep their place.
No matter what you decide, we wish you a lot of fun and success while playing.
